Treatment time?
From the blood draw to the completion of the injection, it takes about an hour to complete.
Recommended Number of Treatments?
Most patients experience noticeable improvement and satisfactory results after the first injection. However, outcomes may vary from person to person. Some women choose to continue with maintenance treatments as part of their intimate care routine, and a follow-up session can be performed after approximately 8 weeks.
Will there be pain during the treatment?
Pain perception varies individually. A topical anesthetic and cooling are applied prior to injection to minimize discomfort. Most patients report minimal to no pain, with a minority experiencing mild pressure or transient stinging. Sedation is available for pain-sensitive individuals. The full procedure—from blood draw to completion—typically takes under one hour.
Do you need anesthesia during the treatment?
Before the procedure, a topical anesthetic will be applied to the injection area, and the injections will be performed under local anesthesia. For patients who are more sensitive to pain, light sedation can also be provided.
How long is the recovery period?
After the procedure, it is recommended to avoid sexual intercourse and soaking in baths for 3 days. There is usually no downtime, and it generally does not affect daily activities.
